| 3 Method of payment:
In order to book your car, it is necessary that a deposit be made (no larger that € 50). The amount is deposited into the MasterCar Chalkidiki Car Hire account. The remainder of the cost of the rental is settled upon delivery of the car. MasterCar accepts payment in cash or credit card (Visa or MasterCard).
4 All MasterCar Chalkidiki car rental prices include:
- Unlimited kilometers
- Baby and children’s seats
- VAT tax
- 24-hr road assistance throughout Greece
- Second driver mentioned in the contract
- Thessaloniki Airport Car Rentals delivery and collection services
INCLUDED INSURANCE COVERAGES:
- CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) Liability reduced to € 150 for the caterogies A to D and € 350 for categories D1 to minibus
- SCDW (Super CDW) Liability reduced to € 150 for the caterogies A to D and € 350 for categories D1 to minibus (covers unnoticed damage and damage that was caused without intention)
- LDW (Loss Damage Waiver) Liability reduced to € 150 for the caterogies A to D and € 350 for categories D1 to minibus for damage to the car in case of theft (personal belongings are excluded) or vandalism
- STP (Super Theft Protection) Theft Insurance with no liability
- PAI (Personal Accident Insurance) Insurance coverage for passengers in case of injury or death (apart from the driver) up to € 500.000
- Fire Insurance with no liability
- Third Party Liability Insurance
- for bodily harm up to € 500.000 (in accordance to law)
- for material damage up to € 100.000 (in accordance to law)
- Crystal Breaking, damage to the roof, mirrors, antenna
- Extra: CDW with no liability: € 3 per day.
5 No insurance coverage applies in case of:
- Damage to the underside of the car and the tires, which has been caused by driving on non-paved roads, in other words unsuitable roads.
- Damage caused as a result of alcohol or drug consumption by the driver
- Damage cused by persons not mentioned in the contract

7 Fuel:
There are two alternative in regard to fuelling your MasterCar rent a car in Chalkidiki or Thessaloniki:
- You receive the car with a full gas tank: in this case, you must deposit a guarantee of about € 50 (depending on the type of vehicle), upon collection. You deliver the car with a full gas tank and the deposit is refunded. If you deliver the car with less fuel or with an empty tank, the guarantee is kept by MasterCar.
- You receive the car with a full gas tank and deliver it with an empty gas tank: Payment of the fuel takes place upon receiving the car and you do not deposit a guarantee. If you deliver the car with less fuel or with an empty tank, the difference is not refunded.
8 Collection and/or delivery outside office hours:
Collection and/or delivery from 11 pm to 7 am is charged € 10 each way.
9 Cancellation:
If cancellation takes place 5 days prior to the date of reservation, no amount is charged. If a deposit has been sent, it is refunded. In case of cancellation less than 5 days prior to the date of reservation, the deposit is kept by MasterCar Chalkidiki car hire agency.
Rufunds are not given after the commencement of the rental period. Refunds are also not given if the renter does not arrive within the scheduled time limits or if the necessary documentation is not provided (driver’s license and identification card)
All cancellations must be written and sent by e-mail to: info@mastercar-greece.com. If this is not possible, kindly contact our office by phone at: +30 23750 94402. Cancellations are valid only with a written confirmation by our company.
10 Transport by boat:
Transport of the rental car to the Greek Islands is only allowed if MasterCar has given its written permission. We kindly request you inform us if you would like to transport the car by boat.
11 Rental outside Greek borders:
Taking any MasterCar rental car outside Greek borders is forbidden. |
